Biteforce Toys

I'm all for a cute dog toy. Obviously! 😂 But when I'm choosing toys for The Curious Dog Company, cute is never the only reason something makes the cut.

I want toys that are thoughtfully designed, made to stand up to proper play and, most importantly, give me confidence that they're going to cope with the way real dogs actually use them.

Which is why I'm very happy to have the Bite Force Tough Plush range on the TCDC shelves.

I've chosen three from the deep sea collection. Not because I need my dog toys to fit a seasonal theme, but because they're bloody cute, brilliantly made and designed with durability in mind.

These aren't your average floppy plush toys.

Bite Force toys are made with Kevlar™ yarn, a heavy-duty woven interior and reinforced layers, with 11 stitches per inch to help improve durability and tear resistance. They also have a squeaker and crinkle material, so there's plenty going on to keep dogs interested.

And I've had a very good test subject...

Harley likes to deconstruct things. If there's a seam, a corner or a dangly bit that can potentially be removed, she will investigate it thoroughly 😂

The Starfish has been particularly brilliant for her because there aren't any long, dangly bits for her to immediately target. She's been tugging, tossing, wrestling and generally putting it through its paces for months, and it's still intact.

That's exactly the sort of real-life testing I want behind the products I stock.

Choose from 🐙 Octopus, ⭐ Starfish 🦀 Crab (have you ever seen a dog toy with more attitude!?).

🤓 TCDC Top Tip: “Tough” doesn't mean indestructible. Every dog plays differently, and even the most durable toy can eventually be damaged by a determined chewer. Always supervise your dog, particularly if they're prone to destroying toys, and remove the toy if it becomes damaged or pieces start to come loose.

Each toy contains squeaker and crinkle material to add different textures and sounds to playtime.

Play it safe! 🐾 No plush toy is indestructible. Check your dog's toy regularly for damage and always choose toys that are appropriate for your dog's size and play style. Remove and replace if damaged.
